Rumors were flying about that Apple was working on an 12.2 inch iPad and along the way, the device started being dubbed “iPad Pro”. However, new leaks might change the course of what we think the device is suppose to be. Above you will see, a sneak peek at a leaked schematic of this rumored device. The new name for the device is now iPad Air Plus instead of the initial iPad Pro. The leak is courtesy of Japan’s Mac Fan magazine. According to the image, there will be a pair of stereo speakers on both ends of the tablet to ensure better audio consumer experience. In addition, the iPad Air Plus might be running on the next generation A9 System of Chip (SoC) to give a faster and smoother use of the tablet. The tablet is slated to be making its way to stores around the 2nd quarter of next year.
On top of the leaks mentioned, a new video courtesy of Canoopsy on YouTube has been uploaded showing off rumored iPad we have been talking about. The mock up of the device is compared against the 13 inch MacBook Pro and has been built to reflect all the leak specs we’ve been hearing about.
The mock up reflects the speaker set up as well as the thin measurements of 7mm. With this video, we’ve been told that the timeline of the launch should be between April and June 2015.
