Tim Cook Drops Hints of the iWatch
iWatch has been talked about constantly – rumours or truth? Well, Tim Cook, the CEO of Apple may have let the little kitten out of the bag when talking to the financial analyst but it looks like the big mama cat has been let loose too!
Cook has dropped some huge hints about the Apple iWatch when talking to UBS analyst, Steve Milunovich. According to the comments made, Milunovich said in a note to investors that Cook stated that, “Walking down streets in China one sees people speaking into their phones sending voice rather than text messages. Porting this capability to the watch makes sense as it is easier to send a voice message from a device already on the wrist than pulling out a phone. It also could aid penetration of China.”
Since voice messages are a centre piece in the iOS 8, it is only logical that this feature will be included in the iWatch especially if it links up to iMessage. Using iMessage, a user can send voice snippets via message to any friend as per the photo below:
Although Cook has dropped this big hint, we still don’t expect to see the device for another few months. Lucky for us SET Solution has just released a couple of concept designs to fuel our imagination of what the iWatch might look like.
A report from Reuters has further stated that iWatch might give us a 2.5 inch display which is above and beyond the normal 2 inch we are use to seeing for our wrists. Others report that instead of developing a new software system for the device, Apple might just decide to shrink the iOS 8 for the iWatch. And of course, we cannot forget the curved sapphire glass that has been confirmed to be used for the gadget.
SET Solution has taken all these details as well as a few of its own predictions such as six days of battery life per charge and health sensors to incorporate Apple’s Health and HealthKit and brought our vision to life. The video by SET Solution has definitely brought out the beauty of the device and smashed the expectations we could hope for. If the real thing is anything like the video portrays, it might be the first mega hit in the product category by Apple since Cook stepped in as CEO.
Take a look at the video below. Trust me, you’d want to get your own Apple iWatch after watching it.
