Thank God the Moto 360 didn’t looks like its prototypes
The Moto 360 is seen to be the best looking smartwatch to date with its round interface. It’s amazing round interface and sleek finish has blown the competition away. But it seems that the prototypes for the device were quite the hideous sight!
Take a look above! Leaks of the initial prototypes are nothing like what we call the Moto 360 today! The square screens and sporty straps were made of plastic and rubber, giving off an overall cheap design. With thicker bezels and bulky built, the current Moto 360 is nothing like the initial prototypes.
There was one note that we had to make – the little piece beneath the screen of the Moto 360. It holds all the sensors and necessary components of the watch. Many have complained about that small part of the watch and it seems that Motorola could have actually released a perfectly round display. How, you ask? Well, the bezel would have needed to be increased in size. But that would have given the display some black patch on the screen and trust me, you would have been complaining more about that black spot than the small right annoying piece.
The Moto 360 has come a long way since the beginning. It looks like it was a rough and long journey for the device to become what it became. Lucky for us, it turned into beautiful butterfly instead of staying a tacky cocoon.
