Sony Xperia Z3 Compact leaks galore!
Sony has been trying its level best to reduce the leaks regarding the Sony Xperia Z3 Compact before its big reveal at IFA 2014. It looks like its efforts are not that successful as a handful of new images have leaked claiming to be the device. The smartphone is so far the slimmest we’ve seen in the family.
The pictures confirmed that the Xperia Z3 Compact will have a 1/2.3-inch 20.7 megapixel Exmor RS camera and centred LED flash on its rear end. The various port flaps used are also seen in these images along with a microSD and micro USB port. A magnetic charging port, camera button and 3.5 mm headphone jack are all included in this anticipated device.
Rumour has it that the Xperia Z3 Compact will feature a 4.6-inch 720p display which makes sense due to battery life. We were expecting a 1080p display but I guess 720p will do. Hopefully some confirmation will be given soon about this grey detail. The gadget has round edges and the side houses Sony’s iconic silver power button as well as the volume button.
The Sony Xperia Z3 Compact will be running on Android 4.4 and have 2 GB of RAM. The device is completed with the Snapdragon 801 processor. The flagship will also be water and dust resistant.
There have also been side view images leaked in the handful of pictures. Nothing new but we were hoping a front facing image. At the rate things are going, we think a full frontal leak is soon to happen any day now.
