Oppo F1s have just launched very recently with Nora Danish introducing the new Selfie Expert. Just the past weekend as well the F1s Selfie Expert went on a road trip and landed in Penang with Min Chen. She was there entertaining fans and rocking the new Selfie Expert on 20th August, 2016, a Saturday from 2.30p.m to 5.30p.m. in Sunway Carnival Mall, Penang.
Min Chen took a few selfies with the OPPO F1s with the fans that turned out at the roadshow. She was also OPPO’s shop manager in the event introducing and demonstrating the new functions of the OPPO F1s including its Beautify Mode 4.0. That paired with the new 16-megapixel front-facing camera ensuring the photos that you took of yourself look as good as ever.
In that one weekend as well the pre-orders of the F1s went up to 6,000 orders. After that weekend the camera phone went on sale through the weekend in over 4,000 retailers. The Mid Valley show with Ayda Jebat also helped bolstered the promotion of the F1s. Apparently with the two days of roadtrips that the OPPO F1s took, OPPO has garnered over 10,000 units in sales.
OPPO is optimistic about the growth of the camera phone in Malaysia as they have been having success after success in 2016 alone. Currently ranked second largest manufacturer in China in the second quarter of 2016. They shipped out 18 million units of devices in the second quarter alone which was a 124% year-on-year growth. That is actually a big leap in terms of growth. In fact that is the biggest growth globally for a smartphone manufacturer among the largest manufacturers.
The OPPO F1s features a MediaTek MT6750 Octa-core Cortex A53 chips clocked at 1.5GHz paired up with a Mali-T860MP GPU and 3GB of RAM. Internal Storage comes in 32GB and expandable up to 256GB via MicroSD. To keep everything running there is a 3075mAh battery inside that is covered in a 5.5-inch IPS display with 720 x 1,280 pixels and aluminum case out the back. The main feature of the camera phone of course are the cameras. It has a 16-megapixel front-facing camera and 13-megapixel back-facing camera. It retails at all authorised OPPO at an RRP of MYR1,198.
