Microsoft Lumia 730 “selfie” focused device takes a selfie!
It was rumoured that Microsoft was working on a selfie focused smartphone and seems the whispers are true. WPCentral has posted new images of the “Superman” prototype that is rumoured to be called the Microsoft Lumia 730. The front shooter will be a whopping 5 megapixels. This is a major upgrade from the previous 1.3 megapixels seen on the Lumia 720.
However, the leaked photos don’t give away much and it is hard to verify to 4.7 inch display screen claims. We’ll most probably be seeing something totally different when the Microsoft Lumia 730 is actually revealed than what the rumour mill has said.
What we can tell from the leak is that there is some new software coming along with this selfie device. The hardware displayed here is allegedly running on Debian Red, the codename for what may be a Lumia-specific take on the recently announced Windows Phone 8.1 Update 1.
Once again, details are scarce on this area. So what that upgrade might be packed with we aren’t sure. However, it will definitely be a boot up from what Cyan already offers.
