LG Exec Banned from CES following Samsung Sabotage
According to a report by CNET, LG’s home appliance chief Jo Seong-jin will not be able to attend the upcoming CES 2015 event slated to take place next month. The executive is barred from leaving South Korea after allegedly tampering with a Samsung washing machine at the IFA Tradeshow that took place earlier this year.
LG has so far denied any of the allegations but the evidence proves otherwise. The footage from the event shows Jo tampering and sabotaging the said Samsung appliances. Samsung’s attorneys are working on getting the exec banned from flying to Las Vegas for CES 2015. It seems that Jo however, was not working alone as four other LG executives were working with him. Out of the four, there are claims that the head of the company’s TV department was one of them.
