iPad Air 2014 “Perfect Replica” Spotted
Apple is set to reveal its new line of hardware later this year after the announcement of the updates to its operating systems just a few weeks ago. It seems that the anticipation of the device has lead to the uncovering of what is touted to be a perfect replica of the upcoming update to the iPad Air.
The replica has some obvious changes to the design. The first change is, of course, the inclusion of the popular Touch ID fingerprint scanning feature which made its debut with the iPhone 5s in the device. Aside from this the major changes that are hinted are redesigned speaker grilles and volume buttons; the former has been changed to a single row of large circles whilst the latter has been made more flushed with the body of the iPad. The silent mode toggle has also been removed and replaced with a hole, the function of which has not been made clear.
With all the design changes indicated in the mock up, it looks to be a promising follow up to the 2013 iPad Air. The 2014 edition of the iPad Air is expected to be launched later this year in September. So, expect more rumours and speculation in the days coming up to the reveal.
