Google Nexus Player Pulled from Play Store
We were looking forward to the Google Nexus Player to be part of the line up of Nexus devices. However, just as it was announced, it looks like the Nexus Player has been experiencing its first minor issue.
Google has reported that the Nexus Player has not been approved by the FCC and cannot be sold in America just yet. This does not mean that the device has been pulled off the market. It means that users will need to wait awhile as the company gets this issue sorted. Google hence, need to take down the pre-order option for the device on Google Play Store.
Usually, any device needs to get the FCC’s stamp of approval before it can be officially announced. I guess someone made a boo-boo!
Update: The Nexus Player is ready for order. Users will however, need to wait for a month as the device has not left storage.
