BlackBerry unleases BlackBerry Porsche Design
The Blackberry Porsche Designed phones are one of the most anticipated headsets we have seen from the company for quite a long time. The first model, P’9983 is the first among the line up to be leaked.
From what we’re seeing, the headset has a stainless steel and glass weave build that retains the QWERTY keyboard. The device has a square 3.1 inch 720p display and runs on dual-core 1.5GHz Qualcomm processor. The P’9983 has 2 GB of RAM that is mated with 64 GB worth of internal storage that has a microSD expansion up to 128 GB. The device is also equipped with a 8 megapixel main back camera and a 2 megapixel front shooter. It will run on the latest version of BlackBerry 10.3 and comes with some custom Porsche Design wallpaper and a special watchface. The gadget is powered by a 2100mAh removable battery.
The company is referring to the new keyboard as revolutionary and ensures the best customer typing experience ever seen. The keys are glass like and have a special 3D effect with its silver font characters. With the Porsche Design additions, Blackberry is also looking to give customers a range of Italian leather back panels that can be swapped from one to another. The colors available should be yellow, blue green, dark brown, pomegranate, Paloma grey, salsa, blue or orange.
This is not the first time Blackberry is flaunting its Porsche Designed smartphones. According to the company, the previous Porsche line up was a success in high end retail stores such as Harrods!
The expected price tag for the BlackBerry Porsche Design P’9983 is USD$2000 (RM3500) and is set to be released world wide in October.
