‘BADASS’ surveillance program introduced
The British and Canadian governments are the latest authorities to be put in the limelight for government surveillance issues. The authorities allegedly use special software filters to get their hands on smartphone user information from companies’ servers.
This platform by the British and Canadian governments is code named ‘BADASS’. It is a program use to collect encrypted data that are sent to advertising corporation from smartphones and other mobile gadgets. Supposedly, with the program, it gives companies way more data than they need about any user!
No representative from the authorities have addressed the claims but even so, just the rumors of such a program is worrying enough!
