Apple Starts work on iOS 8.X
Evidence has emerged that Apple is planning something a little different for the iOS 8 cycle now that we’re at iOS 8.0.2. It seems that the company is already in the process of testing element of version 8.1, 8.2 and 8.3.
So what’s the proof? Well, there are signs pointing to the iOS versions that have surfaced on server logs on Apple news websites and iOS developers websites. In the last couple of weeks, we’ve seen the 8.2 and 8.3 versions popping up.
Rumors has it that a version of the next iOS 8.1 has gone out to developers so that they could start working with it before the version is released to the public. One of the main features that will be expected to be included in the next version of iOS 8 thr activation of the NFC based Apple Pay mobile payment service as well as Apple Watch support and a split screen feature for iPads.
The tech giant will most probably be planning on sticking to the iOS 8.X route instead of opting to move into iOS 9. It seems that Apple doesn’t just want to get rid of flaws and bugs but it’s planning on bringing the operating system to the next level. It also seems that the tech giant wants to ensure that its OS is definitely up to date and ready to take on support for the upcoming products and services by the company such as Apple Pay and Apple Watch!
