Apple Snatches More Partners for CarPlay
Last week saw the announcement of the Google Android Auto in Google I/O. With over 30 brands under the Automotive Open Alliance some say Apple is trailing behind and looks like a less popular choice among manufacturers. That is however not the choice though. Apple just revealed that they have just roped in new partners for the CarPlay project namely; Alfa Romeo, Audi, Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, Jeep and Mazda. These manufacturers listed are also a part of the Google Automotive Open Alliance which squarely means that they will get also Android Auto in their cars. This then would be interesting, your smartphone now plays a vital choice in the kind of optionals you want in your car.
