11Street is still on the Hari Raya mood as they raised MYR30,000 in their latest charity ‘Do Good Deals – Beli Sambil Memberi’ campaign. Dontated to The Budimas Charitable Foundation, the campaign was held through June 5th to July 20th, 2016 in conjunction of Hari Raya Aidilfitri celebration throughout the month. The closing of the campaign; hosted with a Hari Raya open house, also saw 63 children from the foundation getting a treat to the movie – Ice Age: Collision Course along with some ‘duit raya’ courtesy of 11Street with the presence of Zizan Razak, brand ambassador for 11Street.
With the campaign 11Street pledged to match every extra Ringgit contributed by shoppers on top of the retail price of items purchased by the shoppers through out the campaign period. The program’s aim was to support The Budimas Charitable Foundation’s program – Budimas Food Charity Fund. The program was designed to ensure that impoverished school children are fed breakfast. The MYR30,000 cheque, which was handed over to the foundation on the 5th August, 2016 evening will ensure that 130 school children from Sekolah Kebangsaan Sungai Burong, Tanjong Karang, Selangor will receive a hearthy breakfast every day until the end of the year.
